Coral Reef Package

Coral Reef is a five day cruise to visit the island of Kavarati, Kalpeni and Minicoy by Ship MV Tipu Sultan. The island tour is organised during the day with lunch and refreshment ashore. Nights are spent on board ship. MV Tipu Sultan has 36 first class and 100 Tourist class accommodations. Swimming, Snorkeling and other water sports can be arranged during the day tour.

1. Ship leaves Kochi around 1100 hrs. Tourist are advised to reach Kochi one day ahead of departure date for collecting tour tickets and completing other formalities. Boarding in ship takes place two hours before scheduled departure time. Passengers availing LTC should ask for an LTC certificate at the time of reporting at SPORTS office. 2. Entry Permit : All visitors to Lakshadweep require entry permit from Lakshadweep Administration. Sports Kochi will take care of all such formalities for those who are availing Sports package to Lakshadweep.

3. Ship programme is subject to change due to unforseen reasons. Allow one day margin at Kochi while making onward and return journey arrangements for any eventuality.

4. Tour booking is made in accordance with the rules of booking of package tour to lakshadweep.

5. Total package tariff includes transportation charges by ship embarkation and disembarkation charges other local transportation , food accommodation, sight seeing and lagoon cruise wherever applicable.

6. Group travellers will be allowed following concessions. In a group consisting of 16 pax ,01 pax free. In a group consisting of 11 pax travelling during 1st feb to 15th Apr, one will be free.

7. Children between age of 2 to 10 accompanying the parents will charged full transport charge and 50% of the tour charge.

8. Tour will be booked subject to availability of seats and on receipt of 100% total package charges as advance either by cash or by demand draft in favour of Ashok Travels & Tours (ITDC) payable at New Delhi.

9. Details of tourist, such as name /sex/ age and food preference should be furnished while booking seats.

10. Cancellation and Refund : Once booked cancellation charge 20% will be deducted from package charges up to 16 days before scheduled departure of ship. If cancelled 8 to 15 days before departure 50% package charges will be deducted and 100% will be deducted if cancelled less than 8 days before. Ashok Travels and Tours remits entire advance to Lakshadweep Tourism, Sports Society Kochi, hence refunds will only be given once it comes from Sports Kochi. Ashok Travels and Tours would not be responsible for any delay in refunds

11. In case of cancellation of the ship programme by SPORS, Ashok Travels and Tours would not be liable for refunds of transport / Hotel accommodation or any other loss arising out of it for booked passenger. Refund for the package amount would only be given by Ashok Travels and Tours, once the same is received by Ashok Travels and Tours from SPORTS. Ashok Travels and Tours would not be responsible for any delay in refunds

12. Govt. Taxes (non refundable) will be levied extra on the total package charges.

13. Ashok Travels & Tours (ITDC) is acting as a Government booking agency. The operational and administrative responsibility for operating this trip is solely taken by Lakshadweep Tourism (Sports Society Kochi).
